That is a victory for both freedom and small government. Individuals who believe climate change, or global warming, or worldwide climate disruption should fight for their cause outside of government. Convince people to live differently. Invest your money and time in solving the problem rather than convincing government to solve it. They would do it badly anyways.

In the meantime, I will be focusing on my business. Glenn Beck's new comprehensive Weiner facts site is a great resource for weiner lovers everywhere. But its possible we could make sure everyone who searches for the word "Weiner"gets to see WeinerFacts.com on the first page. (Its currently not in the top 100).

How? Well the lib-tards did it a few years back for "miserable failure". If you get a bunch of sites to all link to a site with a single word or phrase, then that page can go to the top of the list. So if we all put a link on the word "Weiner" or "Weiner Facts", then we could move it to the top.

It wouldn't even take a whole lot of Weiner links to get the site to the top. A couple hundred #tcot conservatives on twitter could make an impact. We all have a few blogs and the media will link just out of sheer stupidity. I think it is urgently important that we make sure everyone gets their weiner facts direct from the source.

Help me with a blog post linking to www.weinerfacts.com.

Top Ten Reasons to Oppose This Massive Health Care Bill

10) The Federal Government has a failing post office, failing educational department, cannot run cash for clunkers, and both parties are corrupt. Why would we believe they could do this effectively or efficiently?

9) Non-union workers with "Cadillac" health care plans are taxed 40% on their benefits but Union workers get preferential treatment by the President and their plans are not taxed

8) Tort reform is not adequately addressed causing doctors to continue to prescribe unnecessary tests to cover their a$$ costing billions in wasted time and unnecessary lawsuits

7) New taxes for this bill start immediately yet benefits do not begin for years. These new taxes will further harm the economy and unemployment before any benefits of the program are realized

6) A provision called "Comparative effectiveness studies" will force doctors & insurance companies into procedures recommended by the government rather than innovative cures based on the patients needs

5) Forcing people to participate in modern medicine violates the religions freedom of some groups who believe such things should be left to God and is therefore unconstitutional

4) The "Mandate" for individuals to purchase insurance is unconstitutional and the first time in American history the government has ever forced citizens to purchase anything from a company

3) Adding 30+ million people without any incentives to generate new doctors and nurses from abroad or through education will further exasperate the doctor and nursing shortage

2) As the baby boomers hit retirement, our country is already bankrupt, there is no way we can afford this bill. The idea that this bill reduces the deficit or is deficit neutral is a complete falsehood

1) It forces the federal government to legislate behavior to control federal health care costs allowing them to infringe on your freedom to make healthy OR unhealthy decisions

Funny Climate Change Fraud Video

We have all known for years that climate change or global warming alarm-ism is a complete and total fraud. Any person with common sense can look at the data and see that even if CO2 contributes in some way to warming it has a very minor impact. Similarly using that same common sense you can conclude:

the scientists models are flawed and incomplete

the earth is likely to adapt

if it was a major problem...the proposed "solutions" would not make the tiniest bit of difference

the disaster's that a slight rise in temperatures could cause have also been completely exaggerated.

This climate change video illustrates the point:

But now on the heels of Climategate our world leaders still try to hammer through their global tax with a global government. Hillary Clinton proposes a 100 billion dollar redistribution of wealth from Western nations to the developing world. They continue to push this back door attempt to tax and control the world government despite the reasonable opinions of true scientists such as AccuWeather's Joe Bastardi or Dr. Bill Gray from Colorado State University. It is clear that us "skeptics" or "deniers" are on the verge of winning the American public to the side of common sense. Then maybe being a good steward of the environment can be non-partisan again rather than a socialist attempt to control capitalism.

The paradigm is shifting. The main stream media continues to lose it's credibility. Where American's lead, the world will follow. If Copenhagen fails, the entire AGW theory may collapse in the next 1-3 years. Please pass on this video from http://www.climatechangevideo.org as a funny way to get the average Joe to take a fresh look at the issue rather than just going along with the PC police.

Thank you!

Uncertainty is the Cause of a National Hiring Freeze

Job losses have eased, yet the unemployment rate continues to grow and people keep leaving the job market. Unemployment is always a lagging indicator, but I predict this time jobs will lag more than normal. The reason is the cost uncertainty that businesses face. Owners, managers, and CEOs are awakening to the realization that many of our fixed cost are not set for the next 2-6 years. This makes us extremely nervous.

As a business owner, the toughest decision to make is when to add an employee. Both involve someone else’s livelihood and either could go badly. When businesses add salary, you have to commit to making the new position successful. That means more than the person’s salary, benefits, tax and other insurance costs. It means a serious investment in training, education, and overhead. With other possible costs coming our way, businesses cannot take that risk. Conversely, opportunities to cut payroll are welcome savings. They give a little “cushion” in case of a rainy day or unexpected downturn. So when an employee takes a new position they are not replaced, instead adding a bit more of a burden on current employees or the business owner.

There are three giant unknowns in the near future for companies. The first is Washingon’s issue du jour, healthcare reform. The second is tax changes and regulations. The final is the most far-reaching and that is a new energy policy such as cap-and-trade. Business owners are split on how they view each of these issues. But no owner or CEO can discount the cost to businesses when these three issues change. Even if a proposal is “revenue neutral” as the buzz word goes, the cost of compliance with the new system reverberates through the economy.

The controversial health insurance reform legislation is topic one. But some facts about the outcome seem clear. A new major health bill is on the horizon which means businesses do not know the renewal cost of current insurance. They also have no idea if they will be allowed to cancel or reduce coverage. Even if a business’s insurance rates stay stable or decrease, you will still have next year’s costs of compliance with the new law. While benefits from the new bill will be in the future, costs are likely to hit sooner as we invest in this major overhaul. Health care costs are a big question mark for small business.

From small businesses to corporations, taxes must always be counted. If not properly managed, your tax burden can stretch any business to bankruptcy. Regulation compliance is also a significant cost. Clearly someone will need to pay more taxes to pay for recent government spending and proposed spending. Whether they tax corporations, individuals, or some type of value added sales tax these costs will need to be accounted for. While politicians will try to steer new taxes towards policy goals and the rich; the broad impact is that industry will sit and watch Washington, DC act. They will ride out a choppy political storm until the waters are calm.

The great unknown is energy costs. As we saw from the recent gasoline spike this has an inflationary effect on everything. Sales plummet as money is spent on energy to keep the world moving. Businesses are hit with higher utilities, higher rent, increased transportation costs, and the crushing blow of less revenue. While cap-and-trade may have laudable goals, the effect on energy cost is certain. They must go up in order to encourage conservation. The point is not to start a debate on global warming, but rather to say that this policy has an impact on the private sector. One of those impacts is that money spent on energy is not spent on payroll.

Since none of these issues will be clear for months or a year, the US economy will remain at a standstill. Businesses sit on the sideline and watch the games being played in Washington. We rout for our interests and even pay to play. But in the end we are mere spectators until the government settles. Then we get to play our game of capitalism again. Until that time, I will be in the cheap seats hoping for an outcome my business can survive.

Cheap Abundant Energy is Your Right!

As an American, freedom is the greatest treasure of our country. It is because of our freedom that we have led the world for generations. Freedom allows Americans to worship anyway they like. We are free to travel to any state, move our family without permission, and free to earn a living anyway we choose. I started my own business and created three full time positions and a part time job starting in 2001. In Today's world, I would never take that risk.

In the news and in discussions, Americans are fearful of losing their freedoms. They talk about the Freedom of speech, gun rights, wiretaps and things of this nature. Many people also fear the freedoms that could be lost with Universal Healthcare. But the freedom that people are not talking about is about to come under attack in the upcoming months. Your freedom to use power and energy as you see fit is about to be infringed upon in a major way.

Americans use energy in two primary ways; first to power our homes & businesses and second to power our cars. The ability to do both in an affordable way allows us to travel, create jobs, and live at our high standard of living. If you raise the cost of electricity or gasoline, you increase the cost of EVERYTHING in your life. From food to diapers to flat screen TVs, every one of them will cost more because these companies’ energy costs will rise. If you raise the cost of energy, the economy will suffer dramatically.

Global Warming alarmists are debating two major pieces of legislation in the back channels of Washington. The first is cap-and-trade. Cap-and-trade will set an arbitrary limit on CO2 emissions and force businesses to buy the right to pollute from other companies or the government. This will raise your gas and electric bills dramatically in the next few years. The second is an increased federal gasoline tax; some "experts" are recommending a tax that places a gallon of gasoline at $4. This raises your travel costs and the shipping cost of all goods and services.

Why are they doing this? Simple, if you raise the cost of energy, people will use less of it. Sounds noble. Using less energy “saves the world” and gets of off foreign oil. Right??

Sure, people will use less energy and less CO2 will be emitted. But at what cost? Americans will buy less consumer goods as they cope with increased energy prices. US companies will lose the competitive advantage of low energy costs. They already have high labor costs, with the increased cost of energy, American companies will not be able to compete internationally. Meanwhile all Americans will be cutting energy usage affecting the travel industry and energy sector. All of this will harm our economy...long before any significant "green jobs" are created.

So how does this affect your Rights and Freedoms? The GOVERNMENT is impeding on your ability to earn a living. They are stomping on your right to travel anywhere in the country. By raising the cost of your energy, they are limiting your wealth arbitrarily. If you want to save the planet, then convince people to use less energy. Invent more efficient technology. But do not tell me that my energy HAS to cost more. Now is not the time to force a shift in our economy. We cannot handle it. There is unlimited energy in this world, there is no shortage. Energy needs to be cheap, abundant, and flow freely in order to encourage growth and innovation. If we do not have economic growth, our deficits will expand to the point of economic collapse. These two policies would insure that collapse.

Jeff Schroeffel

Conservative / Business Owner

…This is a op-ed I wrote and submitted to be published. (It wasnt)

The REAL Undisputable Global Warming Facts

The debate is really over. While you hear all these "facts" about global warming, climate change, and the solutions, Here are my version of the facts that global warming alarmists don't want you to know.

Global Temperatures have not risen at all in nearly ten years (http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/Fig.C.lrg.gif)

Only 5% of the "greenhouse effect" is man-made, less than 1% if you count water vapor (http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html)

If China, India, Russia and the developing world do not curb emissions, nothing the U.S. does will mean anything at all. All have ruled out even considering emission reductions

Either cap-and-trade or a carbon tax are intended to increase energy prices so that you have to use less, that is the only way they work (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlTxGHn4sH4)

Since the battery technology does not exist to store solar and wind power when it isn't sunny or windy, any city that relies on this type of power needs backup coal, natural gas, or nuclear plants or be willing to accept blackouts (http://gopplatform08.blogspot.com/2008/07/why-are-gas-and-energy-prices-so-high.html)

Cap and Trade means higher energy costs. Higher energy costs means more expensive food, housing, manufactured goods, and services. This bill would be highly inflationary. (Not even to mention all the money we are printing)

This will once again be a way to "redistribute wealth" as the government collects these taxes from businesses who are forced to charge higher prices to the middle class, then give back "rebates" in the form of thousands of dollars to the poor

The "Green Jobs" that would be created are mostly temporary. While it takes steel workers to make wind-mills, it takes very few people to run a wind-mill once it is running. (http://blogs.reuters.com/environment/2009/04/07/do-green-jobs-cannibalize-other-jobs/)

Well, that is just a few to get you thinking tonight. Suggest more in the comments

Rush, Get off the Sidelines & Get in the Game

Dear Rush Limbaugh,

Mega Pittsburgh Steeler Fans dittos from the heart of Steelers country in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. I love listening to your show and would graduate the Limbaugh school of conservative studies with no problem. I have been listening since 1998 when I woke up from my early life Liberalism and became a conservative at age 22. I have never in my life seen anything like we are witnessing in the last six months. The speed and scale of changes to our country is unprecedented.

I am writing you this open letter as e-mails never seem to make it your way. My hope is that this will garner your attention and/or the attention of other conservatives (#tcot). You and I both being Steeler fans, I want to use a football metaphor. Get out of the press box and get into the game. Bill Cowher now patrols the studio on Sunday rather than the sideline and guess what; he doesn't determine who wins or loses. Instead he spits on the camera instead of players. Like Bill, I don't think you are having the impact you could.

Today on your show, you said something along the lines of "now is the time to pick as side, there is no middle ground in this fight". While this is a poor paraphrase, I am sure you can find the exact text in the Limbaugh wing of the broadcasting hall of fame. Before I get into my specific requests, let me give my appreciation for what you do and have done. Despite the drive-by-media's template of El Rushbo, you are a thought leader. You espouse freedom and conservatism for three hours a day. You have helped many of us to develop our on conservative views and helped give spines to some of our GOP leaders. But sadly, this administration AND the last administration show that this has not been enough.

So I ask you to come down from the Penthouse. Step out of the studio. Leave the limo behind and get the SUVs out of the garage. Take on the media. Not on your turf, but on theirs. Take the interviews, write the op-eds, and endure the hit pieces. Come out to the march on 9/12. Rally your listeners to show up in DC and shut it down. You can make the difference and help wake up America. We need all hands on deck, not a Hall of Fame coach in the press box. Time to get the hands dirty and show these girlie men that if they want you to be the leader of the Republican party, they can have their wish. You may not lead the GOP, but you can lead the conservatives in this country straight to their doorstep.

I'll be right behind you as always.

Sincerely,

Jeff Schroeffel

Pittsburgh, PA

Conservative

Steeler Fan

Ditto Head

The Cap and Trade Disaster by Sarah Palin

Governor Sarah Palin said it best today. In the video linked below this paragraph, Al Gore mentions this as one big benefit of "putting a price on carbon". First, remember when someone says "price on carbon" they mean "tax on energy". But the global governance is a great point.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6658672.ece

One ultimate goal of the global warming movement is to see the world as a global community and the UN as the global government. (or a similar organization). The Earth has been raised to Deity status and our role in caring for the earth is believe to be all powerful. The global warming alarmists are willing to manage growth, production, and wealth worldwide to keep the temperature where they believe is best for the earth, humans, and all species. (who are they to decide the right temperature by the way)

So you have to ask yourself, do you want a global system of anything. The US federal government is completely out of control in size and scope. Do you think an organization of despots and dictators would do better such as the UN? The more money that gets into the government's hands, the more freedoms we lose in the US and worldwide.

Next, shifting gears...Al Gore asserts we could create a more efficient combustion engine if we just put our minds to it. This shows how little he understands about innovation and discovery. Does he think that no engineers have been working on this problem? What does he think that all we have to do is think harder and throw government money at it and pooof there is the more efficient engine. Its so wrong, you wonder how he isn't laughed off stage.

Where is the everyday American to realize this is a complete crock. At what point does Joe Backyard and Sally Muckandfuch realize that food on my table is more important than 1 degree over the next 50 years. Its just too much. Lay off government, we want no more of your product.

Another view on Gore's comments:

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/1893/Gore-US-Climate-Bill-Will-Help-Bring-About-Global-Governance

More likely Global Warming Destroys Earth or Man Made Catastrophe

I had a thought today. If you were a betting man, would you bet:

The Earth ends based on the temperature going out of control based on human actions

OR

The Earth ends based on Man destroying the world with war, bio-engineering, or advanced tech?

We know the Global warming scenerios. They are preached to us on every channel and every media outlet on the left. The G8 just "committed" to making sure the temperature doesnt change 2 degrees, an amount it didnt change in the whole 20th century. So lets say worst case scenerio, 100 years from now actual people are harmed by global warming?

On the other hand, lets start with the highly possible man-made events...

Nuclear war or terrorist attack has to be considered. 2-3 simultaneos nuclear eruptions above ground would have dramatic effects on Earth and its climate. How many would it take within three months to damage the Earth beyond repair. Now, as the technology is more widespread and understood isnt it likely that they are more difficult to track down and easier to build?

What about bio-engineering? Disease research and warfare are still practiced worldwide by well meaning as well as evil men and women. Look at the swine flu scare, not man-made, but the reaction shows the fear of disease our society retains. As we fight disease with anti-virals and other techniques, wont these bugs fight back? Is this one more likely than global warming?

So personally, I think both of the above are more likely than global warming. Shouldnt we be focused on economic development and Democracy in the developing world instead of trying to control the climate like God? I think we will do more harm than good. Someone might even shoot up a "sun shade". (are you serious?)

This doesnt even consider the unlikey things that could happen...say for example; build a machine that causes black holes; or possibly get hit with a big asteroid; a black hole wanders near our solar system;a massive volcano in Yellowstone could erupt. Their may even be a God who ends the world.

Clearly the last paragraph is exagerated. But the point is that nobody is spending billions of dollars to stop any of these scenerios. We are not debating raising the cost of living world wide to stop the next asteroid or nuclear maniac. So why the global need to immediately stop the possibility that a little water would rise and some people have to move?

Its the money stupid. Tax. Revenue. Spending. Control. Global Government. Power.

No more, no less.

Cap and Trade Bill in Senate Postponed until September

Read the Washington Post Story here:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/09/AR2009070901998_pf.html

Despite this report, we must be cautious not to get complacent. This may be nothing more than a tactic to get the momentum against this bill to die down. I think it is very likely still that they will bring it up fast when it does happen. The attempt would be to get the bill through before the news cycle catches up to the work in the Senate.

This gives us more time to plan how we can stop this bill. One of the ways we can stop the global warming bill is by defeating the Obamacare effort as well. Cap & Trade has no chance to pass except for the fact that Democrats are afraid of going against a popular President. If he continues to lose momentum, it will be easier for coal and natural gas state Senators to back away from this cap and tax plan.

While this site is not going to focus on the health care legislation at all, the bill has similar problems for business as the cap and tax scheme. Both plans will take money away from consumers with government mandates. As consumers have less to spend, business becomes more dependent on government and more likely to outsource jobs.

If we can stop Obamacare 1st, we have a better chance to stop cap and trade too.

How do we stop Cap and Trade? Get the Public's Attention!

So as a conservative in the wilderness right now, we all feel like there is nothing we can do. We can go to this protest here...OR join a Washington, DC protest on X date...OR call our representatives again...OR sign a petition... yada...yada...yada.

With no representation in congress and very few honest brokers in the media, the general public is willing to give Obama and the Democrats a year to see if they can "fix" the country. The problem is that they are about to fix it, and fix it for good. If cap and trade and Obamacare pass, the U.S. will never be free again. We are talking about losing our freedom to control our lives through health care and the freedom to control our wealth through energy. With these two bills, the federal government can control virtually everything we do.

So it is time to do something radical to force coverage of the opposing views to this cap and trade scheme. I have proposed a driving protest to Cap Washington DC the way they are trying to strangle or cap the economy. We are not street protesting hippies yelling into megaphones or getting sprayed with hoses. But I am willing to bet we all own cars and most of them are good old SUVs, mini-vans, and other gas guzzling symbols of the American freedom of the open road.

The average length of a full size car is 16 feet

There is 5280 feet per mile

The Washington, DC beltway is about 64 miles long

There are five lanes on the DC beltway

The highway goes in 2 directions

It would take 200,000 to 225,000 cars to completely fill the beltway

I know that sounds staggering and a bit ridiculous. But think about it. 200,000 conservatives with NoBama stickers and big honking SUVs all on a road trip to Washington the day these Global Warming alarmists try to pass the largest tax in American history. With 500,000 cars, we could fill the whole teaming sespool of big goverment and shut the entire city down.

This kind of unique protest would accomplish these small steps towards the goal of stopping this legislation:

It would be covered on every news program

It would show that efforts to stop emissions ultimately depends on people's behavior

It would scare these weak knee'd politicians and show them who surrounds who

Look, I know I am just one voice yelling at the TV right now. But if we don't come up with something that changes the dynamic of the news coverage, then we are toast. Lets get some feedback. Got a better idea, please post it here. Got some suggestions to take this to the next level, then lets go.

Otherwise, I will see you in D.C.

I will be the guy in the red Ford Focus:

...the last remaining privately owned US auto company.

Another reason to oppose cap and trade

When goverment acts, there is always a winner and a loser. Every spending bill our politicians in both parties help their friends and punish their enemies. The farm bill sees Republicans and Democrats hand pork to rich farmers. Defense is always a good bill to hide earmarks for family friends and local companies with terrible weapons programs. (johnstown, pa is very well defended)

Throughout the Bush years Liberals railed about hand out to oil buddies from Texas and no doubt they were in there. They have been in energy bills since the dawn of time. Anytime money flows from citizens and businesses to goverment and back out again, the people lose. Goverment takes it's cut for waste, fraud, and abuse then hands it back to the best connected among us. This cap-and-trade will be no different. The difference is who's buddies profit.

So who does profit from this monstrocity? Lets take a look at just a few:

Nancy Pelosi has $50,000 to $100,000 invested in Clean Energy Fuels Corp.

Rep. Edward Markey — has investments between $51,000 and $115,000 in the Firsthand Technology Value Fund (which as three solar-energy manufacturers)

Al Gore — venture capital firm is heavily invested in a new software company that's making software to help companies track their carbon footprint.

General Electric (GE) - without cap & trade to promote its smart grid and windmill's may be the next US company needing a bailout (just a note, research how much they paid for Obama's campaign)

Goldman Sachs and Wall Street - I am not usually a wall street basher, but you liberals should like this. Cap and trade creats a market to buy and sell carbon credits at a profit. The bankers love a brand new market to charge commissions on

This is nothing more than a small handful I could find easily before midnight. Rest assured most good Democrats are heavily invested by now in this scheme they have been dreaming up for decades. But be wary, people voting for this bill are doing it for more than just to "save the planet".

Please post any more cap and trade profiteers that you know of in comments...

Sources:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529200,00.html

http://www.businessinsider.com/obamas-climate-exchange-is-a-gift-to-ge-2009-3

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/28816321/the_great_american_bubble_machine/5

Cap and Trade a Job Killer, Not a Job Creator

If cap and trade creates jobs, why does the bill provide 4.2 billion dollars to help coal and oil workers for the next three years? Couldnt those employees move from dirty energy jobs to clean energy jobs?

NO. Why? First, location is a good reason. "Clean" energy jobs will move many jobs from the heartland to the East or West coasts. This is another case of the blue states taking advantage of the red states and dictating how we are to live. As they fly around in their private jets to global warming conferences, we are supposed to take cold showers and drive golf carts. We have to stop this bill before it becomes law. I suggested this protest just yesterday.

We have to figure out a way to educate the American people to realize this is a job and economy killer for virtually no beneft to the environment. Many of the "green" jobs created are temporary, wind mills and solar farms do not need many union workers. Both have environmental impacts of their own.

Research cap & trade and global warming yourself and you will be amazed how much the rhetoric does not match the reality.

Stop the Cap and Trade Scheme! Cap DC Instead.

To stop the cap and trade scheme, or cap & trade legislation, we have to be creative. The tea parties were ignored. Phone calls get logged by staffers and dismissed as a small right-wing fraction of America. Carrying signs and screaming is not what we do best. To have an impact, we have to make the news in a way that is true civil disobedience. I think this idea will work to stop the scheme.

Rather than protesting on the lawn in Washington, D.C. we protest on the roads. Instead of in our local communities, we all drive to D.C. and show them the sheer volume of our opposition. With enough cars, we should be able to clog up DC completly. I suggest we drive right to the capital and demand meetings with our representatives. Get as close as we can and leave our cars there or drive around causing commotion all day.

Come with coolers, spare gasoline, bumper stickers and fully decked out cars covered in signs. Show the politicians and lobbyists we will not stand for this cap and trade tax. They want to cap carbon emmissions, we will cap Washington, DC. We will truly surround them with cars, trucks, and SUVs. If we can get 1 million or 2 million cars into the city; we should shut it down completely. Global warming alarmists will have a cow with the amount of carbon we will spew into the D.C. air.

I am nothing more than someone with an idea. For this to work we would all need to decide this is the way to protest cap and trade. The timing would need to be the day of the Senate vote or the 1st day of voting after the conference committee. Give me feedback, take ownership of the idea. If you are a group who is able to run with this and promote the idea, I will gladly give it up to you.

Cap DC! The Idea to Cap the City

Cap and Trade legislation will put a cap on carbon emissions, but more importantly, it will put a cap on the U.S. economy and the budgets of every American family. Despite very little evidence of actual global warming in the last dozen years, the Democrats are pushing a radical global warming scheme that will enrich regulators at the price of producers.

Our calls in protest and tea parties have been ignored. To stop this bill we must come up with something new. Something that will make the news and cause real disruption. We are not sign holders and chanters, but we love our cars and have the resources to get to D.C. At this stage, this is nothing more than an idea. But here is what I propose...

The day the bill is getting close to passage, we drive to Washington, D.C. ALL OF US. From Ohio to Pennsylvania to California and Florida, we drive across the country and shut the city down. If you have to fly in, then fly and rent a car to drive into the city. We will drive right to the capital and grid lock the whole city. Cars adorned with bumper stickers, flags, and signs all showing we will not stand for this giant tax. I figure if we can get 1 million cars, we can shut the entire city down and emit enough carbon to give heartburn to any global warming alarmist. We must stop this Cap and Trade bill.

Who' is with me?
